Accounting

  • Accountant (Full Time)
    This is an entry level position in our accounting department with 1-2 years of hospital experience. Responsibilities include bank reconciliations, journal entries, data entry, analyze monthly expense and revenue accounts for variances, reconciliation of monthly prepaid schedules, assisting with receiving and processing accounts payable, assisting with inventory, reconciling fixed assets to asset schedule.

Administration

  • PRN/On-Call Pharmacist (Rotating Call) (PRN)
    PRN shifts every Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and other shifts as needed Monday through Thursday; Rotating call. Routine pharmacy duties and review of medication orders while on-call.

Admissions

  • Patient Access Representative - PRN (as needed) (PRN)
    This is a part time, as needed position. Responsible for covering the following positions as needed: PBX, Greeter, Pre-registration/Insurance Verification, Registration, Financial Counseling Responsible for the successful financial outcome of all patient services, including, but not limited to, answering phones and greeting our patients as they arrive to our facility, the pre-registration and registration of patient accounts, and collecting upfront payments prior to services being rendered. This position requires professional appearance, behavior, and good communication skills, as well as dependability, flexibility, and teamwork.

Environmental Services

  • Floor Tech (Full Time)
    Full Time or Part Time Evening Shift Position. Clean floors in patient and non-patient areas according to established techniques and procedures. Perform a variety of duties requiring special skills and physical strength, to maintain the aseptic and aesthetic condition of the hospital/clinic. Perform all other related work assignments according to developed techniques and procedures.
  • Trash/Grounds Tech (Part Time)
    Ensure the removal of non-infectious and infectious waste from the facility and grounds. Provide clean elevators, trashcans and interior stairwells to preserve the aesthetic and aseptic condition of the facility. Also removal of dirty linen from the surgery, radiology, physical therapy and in-patient areas.

Human Resources

  • Director of Human Resources (Full Time)
    Responsible for the overall planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling of the human resources functions of the hospital. Promote effective and efficient coordination and utilization of hospital personnel ensuring each departmentís compliance with hospital governing laws and regulations, state/federal laws, and TJC standards. Responsible for the activities associated with selection/recruitment, compensation and benefits, training and development, employee relations and safety. Under the direction of the CEO, plans, coordinates, and administers policies, procedures, and programs that relate to all phases of the human resources activities, including employee relations, compensation and benefits, wage and salary administration, training and professional development, recruitment and employment.

Imaging

  • Radiologic Tech - OR (Full Time)
    The following positions are currently available: - Full Time - PRN 1. Identifies patient using two identifiers, patient name and date of birth. Verifies informed consent. 2. Corroborates patientís clinical history with procedure, assuring information is documented and available for use by a licensed practitioner. 3. Prepares patient for procedures; providing instructions to obtain desired results, gain cooperation, and minimize anxiety. 4. Positions patient to best demonstrate anatomic area of interest, respecting patient ability and comfort. 5. Selects and operates radiography equipment, imaging and/or associated accessories to successfully perform procedures. 6. Applies principles of radiation protection to minimize exposure to patient, self and others. 7. Understands methods and is capable of performing venipuncture. In agreement with state statute(s) and/or hospital policy, prepares, identifies and/or administers contrast media and/or medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner. 8. Evaluates radiographs for technical quality, assuring proper identification is recorded.

Nursing

  • Inpatient Unit RN (Full Time)
    Available Position: -FT Night shift -PRN - Night and Day shift 1. The Registered Nurse will possess the ability to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and accurately document nursing care for the medical-surgical patient including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups. 2. The Registered Nurse will provide age-specific care for the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in a medical-surgical environment. 3. Coordinates all aspects of nursing care with appropriate disciplines. 4. The Registered Nurse must possess the skill to provide appropriate education to the patient/family regarding their individualized plan of care. 5. The Registered Nurse must be competent in fulfilling discharge planning and case management needs of the medical-surgical patient. 6. Provides a safe environment for patients and families. 7. The Registered Nurse participates in performance improvement activities. 8. Displays excellent customer service skills when interacting with patients, families, co-workers and physicians.
  • OR Director (Full Time)
    Plan, organize, staff and direct a high-volume OR with multiple service lines. Design staff scheduling that meets the needs of patients as well as multiple physician service lines. Manage budget and develop OR programs and policy as well as staff development. Must keep current with management practices and current trends in service delivery. Develop and implement quality assurance programs and evaluate the effectiveness of such plans. Must be flexible with duty hours.
  • OR RN (PRN)
    PRN, variable days M-F Flexible Shifts ranging between 6:30a to 7:00p No Weekends/No Holidays The Registered Nurse will possess the ability to assess, plan, implement, evaluate and accurately document nursing care for the patient in surgery. The Registered Nurse will provide age-specific care for the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in surgery. Coordinates all aspects of nursing care with all disciplines of the surgical team to achieve defined patient outcomes. Provides safe environment for patients in surgery. The Registered Nurse must possess the skill to provide appropriate education to the patient and family regarding the surgical procedure. Displays excellent customer service skills when interacting with patients, families, co-workers and physicians. Practices within the guidelines of Louisiana State Board of Nursing Nurse Practice Act and AORN guidelines. Complies with the policy and procedures set forth by the Surgical Specialty Center of Baton Rouge and all applicable regulatory bodies.
  • PACU RN (PRN)
    PRN positions available. The Registered Nurse will posses the ability to assess, plan, implement, evaluate and accurately document nursing care for the post-operative surgery patient in the PACU. The Registered Nurse will provide age-specific care for the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the PACU environment. Coordinates all aspects of nursing care with all disciplines of the post-operative/procedural team to achieve defined patient outcomes. Provides safe environment for patients and family. The Registered Nurse must posses the skill to provide appropriate education to the patientís family regarding their individualized plan of care. Displays excellent customer service skills when interacting with patients, families, co-workers and physicians. Practices within the guidelines of Louisiana State Board of Nursing Nurse Practice Act and ASPAN guidelines.   • PREOP RN (PRN)
    6:00am start, flexible shifts, PRN. The Registered Nurse will posses the ability to assess, plan, implement, evaluate and accurately document nursing care for the pre-operative or pain management patient in the pre-op unit. The Registered Nurse will provide age-specific care for the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the pre-op environment. Coordinates all aspects of nursing care with all disciplines of the pre-operative and pain management team to achieve defined patient outcomes. Provides safe environment for patients and family. The Registered Nurse must possess the skill to provide appropriate education to the patientís family regarding their individualized plan of care. Displays excellent customer service skills when interacting with patients, families, co-workers and physicians.   • Surgical Technologist - (PRN)
    FT and PRN opening available. The scrub technologist is responsible for a portion of the perioperative care of the surgical patient by proficiently planning, implementing and evaluating the preparation of surgical cases and preparation of the surgical suite. The surgical technologist shall assist the surgeon during surgical procedures in a manner as to make the procedure safe, effective and smooth flowing while adhering to strict aseptic techniques. The surgical technologist is responsible for the preparation of surgical instruments and equipment as appropriate to the surgical procedure.
