  • Chargemaster / Revenue Cycle Specialist (Full Time)
    Employee responsible for maintenance of the hospital chargemaster; establishing charges for new services; revisions of CPT codes/descriptions; pricing of services; reimbursement analysis; utilizations/trends of individual charges; Ensure billing compliance for Medicare/Medicaid and other third-party payors; knowledge of managed care contracts and billing practices.

Environmental Services

  • Floor Tech (Part Time)
    Full Time or Part Time Evening Shift Position. Clean floors in patient and non-patient areas according to established techniques and procedures. Perform a variety of duties requiring special skills and physical strength, to maintain the aseptic and aesthetic condition of the hospital/clinic. Perform all other related work assignments according to developed techniques and procedures.


  • Radiologic Tech - OR (Part Time)
    The following positions are currently available: - PRN/PT 1. Identifies patient using two identifiers, patient name and date of birth. Verifies informed consent. 2. Corroborates patient’s clinical history with procedure, assuring information is documented and available for use by a licensed practitioner. 3. Prepares patient for procedures; providing instructions to obtain desired results, gain cooperation, and minimize anxiety. 4. Positions patient to best demonstrate anatomic area of interest, respecting patient ability and comfort. 5. Selects and operates radiography equipment, imaging and/or associated accessories to successfully perform procedures. 6. Applies principles of radiation protection to minimize exposure to patient, self and others. 7. Understands methods and is capable of performing venipuncture. In agreement with state statute(s) and/or hospital policy, prepares, identifies and/or administers contrast media and/or medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner. 8. Evaluates radiographs for technical quality, assuring proper identification is recorded.


  • Inpatient Manager (Full Time)
    1. Establish and maintain a collaborative work environment among staff and physicians to coordinate optimal patient care. Maintains open communication and collaborative relationships between hospital departments, clinic personnel and the public. Communicate with various departments regarding cases, IP admissions, cancellations, or schedule changes that would affect items or personnel needed to perform the case in various departments. 2. Supports, develops, and implements activities and processes that optimize patient and family satisfaction. 3. Responsible for supervision of staff. Oversight of staff duties to ensure preparedness of IP operations and patient care. Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of staff. 4. Direct various personnel activities including, but not limited to, hiring, performance appraisal, professional growth, and staff counseling using appropriate documentation and follow up. 5. The Inpatient Supervisor is responsible for recording employee absenteeism or tardiness daily. The Inpatient Supervisor will maintain a daily log related to employee tardies and call-ins. The Inpatient Supervisor will assist in disciplinary action regarding employees’ time and attendance. 6. Develops and maintains standards of performance and job responsibilities with employees to include feedback, counseling and coaching when appropriate. Evaluates and verifies employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques. 7. Identifies staff development and training needs. Provides training on procedures, equipment and regulatory requirements as necessary. Assist with educating staff, as needed, regarding policy &procedures. Act as resource for employee. 8. Ensure all new employees are assigned to preceptor and oriented to Inpatient. The IP Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that orientation documentation is completed within 60 days for all new employees and filed in the employee education folders. 9. Must be knowledgeable of all clinical policies & procedures.Collaborates to develop and implement policies and procedures for the departments managed. 10. Collaborates with Accounting Department to prepare annual department budget. Collaborates to monitor annual budget, budget variances and ensures actions taken when warranted. 11. Maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to work and as needed by administrative staff. 12. Responsible for attendance and assistance with SSCBR physical inventory as scheduled. 13. Actively participates in committee meetings as necessary.
  • Inpatient Unit RN (Full Time)
    Available Position: - FT Day Shift -PRN - Night and Day shift 1. The Registered Nurse will possess the ability to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and accurately document nursing care for the medical-surgical patient including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups. 2. The Registered Nurse will provide age-specific care for the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in a medical-surgical environment. 3. Coordinates all aspects of nursing care with appropriate disciplines. 4. The Registered Nurse must possess the skill to provide appropriate education to the patient/family regarding their individualized plan of care. 5. The Registered Nurse must be competent in fulfilling discharge planning and case management needs of the medical-surgical patient. 6. Provides a safe environment for patients and families. 7. The Registered Nurse participates in performance improvement activities. 8. Displays excellent customer service skills when interacting with patients, families, co-workers and physicians.
  • OR Director (Full Time)
    Plan, organize, staff and direct a high-volume OR with multiple service lines. Design staff scheduling that meets the needs of patients as well as multiple physician service lines. Manage budget and develop OR programs and policy as well as staff development. Must keep current with management practices and current trends in service delivery. Develop and implement quality assurance programs and evaluate the effectiveness of such plans. Must be flexible with duty hours.
  • OR RN (PRN)
    PRN, variable days M-F Flexible Shifts ranging between 6:30a to 7:00p No Weekends/No Holidays The Registered Nurse will possess the ability to assess, plan, implement, evaluate and accurately document nursing care for the patient in surgery. The Registered Nurse will provide age-specific care for the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in surgery. Coordinates all aspects of nursing care with all disciplines of the surgical team to achieve defined patient outcomes. Provides safe environment for patients in surgery. The Registered Nurse must possess the skill to provide appropriate education to the patient and family regarding the surgical procedure. Displays excellent customer service skills when interacting with patients, families, co-workers and physicians. Practices within the guidelines of Louisiana State Board of Nursing Nurse Practice Act and AORN guidelines. Complies with the policy and procedures set forth by the Surgical Specialty Center of Baton Rouge and all applicable regulatory bodies.
  • Surgical Technologist - (PRN)
    FT and PRN opening available. The scrub technologist is responsible for a portion of the perioperative care of the surgical patient by proficiently planning, implementing and evaluating the preparation of surgical cases and preparation of the surgical suite. The surgical technologist shall assist the surgeon during surgical procedures in a manner as to make the procedure safe, effective and smooth flowing while adhering to strict aseptic techniques. The surgical technologist is responsible for the preparation of surgical instruments and equipment as appropriate to the surgical procedure.
