  • PRN/On-Call Pharmacist (Rotating Call) (PRN)
    PRN shifts Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday p.m. through Monday a.m. on-call needed. Routine pharmacy duties and review of medication orders while on-call.


  • Patient Access Services Director (Full Time)
    Directs day to day activities of Admissions/PBX departments. Must have advanced knowledge and expertise of hospital regulatory requirements including HIPAA regulations, Joint commission compliance, and Medicare and Medicaid guidelines. Must be organized, efficient, detail-oriented and ability to multi task. Possess excellent communication skills and have advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office. Additional Responsibilities included departmental policies and procedures, budgeting, staffing, benchmarking performance management and team building.

Environmental Services

  • Floor Tech (Part Time)
    Evening Shift Part Time Position. Clean floors in patient and non-patient areas according to established techniques and procedures. Perform a variety of duties requiring special skills and physical strength, to maintain the aseptic and aesthetic condition of the hospital/clinic. Perform all other related work assignments according to developed techniques and procedures.

Information Systems

  • Clinical Informatics (Full Time)
    Responsibilities include: -Collaborates with medical staff for assistance with computerized order entry. -Serves as educator/trainer for all levels of medical/clinical staff on the appropriate use of information technology with an EHR. -Promotes efficient and effective patient care through the use of information technology systems. -Analyzes and communicates the potential impact of Information Technology on clinical workflow/processes; coordinates clinical process/workflow improvements to align with the organizationís Information Technology initiatives. -Maintains data integrity by performing routine reviews and audits of computerized clinical information and processes. -Performs basic troubleshooting of computer hardware/software used by medical/clinical staff for computerized charting in order to promote workflow continuity. -Assists with planning and implementation of information technology that impacts clinical areas.

Materials Management

  • Supply Clerk (Full Time)
    Performs the daily distribution function for non-chargeable and chargeable supplies and equipment utilized by the hospital departments. Assist the materials management coordinator to oversee that all chargeable supplies are labeled and distributed properly.


  • OR Director (Full Time)
    Plan, organize, staff and direct a high-volume OR with multiple service lines. Design staff scheduling that meets the needs of patients as well as multiple physician service lines. Manage budget and develop OR programs and policy as well as staff development. Must keep current with management practices and current trends in service delivery. Develop and implement quality assurance programs and evaluate the effectiveness of such plans. Must be flexible with duty hours.
  • RN - Operating Room (Full Time)
    FT or PRN, variable days M-F, 3 shifts per week, 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. No Weekends/No Holidays Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and accurately documents nursing care for the patient in surgery. Provides age-specific care for the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in surgery. Coordinates all aspects of nursing care with all disciplines of the surgical team to achieve defined patient outcomes. Provides a safe environment for patients in surgery. Displays excellent customer service skills when interacting with patients, families, co-workers and physicians. Practices within the Louisiana State Board of Nursing Nurse Practice Act and AORN guidelines. Complies with the policies and procedures set forth by the Surgical Specialty Center of Baton Rouge and all applicable regulatory bodies.
  • Surgical Technologist - FT & PRN (PRN)
    FT and PRN openings available. The scrub technologist is responsible for a portion of the perioperative care of the surgical patient by proficiently planning, implementing and evaluating the preparation of surgical cases and preparation of the surgical suite. The surgical technologist shall assist the surgeon during surgical procedures in a manner as to make the procedure safe, effective and smooth flowing while adhering to strict aseptic techniques. The surgical technologist is responsible for the preparation of surgical instruments and equipment as appropriate to the surgical procedure.
