Environmental Services

  • Floor Tech (Part Time)
    Part Time Evening Shift Position. Hospital or surgery floor cleaning experience preferred Clean floors in patient and non-patient areas according to established techniques and procedures. Perform a variety of duties requiring special skills and physical strength, to maintain the aseptic and aesthetic condition of the hospital/clinic. Perform all other related work assignments according to developed techniques and procedures.
  • Housekeeper (Part Time)
    Clean patient and non-patient areas according to established techniques and procedures. Perform a variety of housekeeping duties requiring special skills and physical strength, to maintain the aseptic and aesthetic condition of the hospital/clinic. Perform all other related work assignments according to developed techniques and procedures.

Imaging

  • OR Radiologic Tech (PRN)
    Must be able to work flexible days/shifts and must be able to take call. Provides health care services, applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis and treatment. Performs radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of licensed practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.

Materials Management

  • Supply Clerk (Full Time)
    Performs the daily distribution function for non-chargeable and chargeable supplies and equipment utilized by the hospital departments. Assist the materials management coordinator to oversee that all chargeable supplies are labeled and distributed properly.

Nursing

  • Inpatient Manager (Full Time)
    The Inpatient Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the Inpatient Unit. Also responsible for hiring, evaluating performance, disciplining, and terminating their direct reports. The Inpatient Manager uses a broad nursing and management background to plan, organize, staff and direct comprehensive patient care. This involves evaluating and modifying goals, priorities, and organizational structures to provide optimum nursing care service. The Inpatient Manager is responsible for the development and monitoring of the Inpatient Unit, Lithotripsy and Sleep budgets, and policy and procedures for those departments. The Inpatient Manager will ensure adequate staff are scheduled to meet the needs of patients. The Inpatient Manager will develop and implement quality assurance programs and evaluate the effectiveness of such plans.
  • OR RN (Full Time)
    Full-Time - 12 Hour shifts available PRN - 10's or 12's with flexible days No Weekends/No Holidays The Registered Nurse will possess the ability to assess, plan, implement, evaluate and accurately document nursing care for the patient in surgery. The Registered Nurse will provide age-specific care for the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in surgery. Coordinates all aspects of nursing care with all disciplines of the surgical team to achieve defined patient outcomes. Provides safe environment for patients in surgery. The Registered Nurse must possess the skill to provide appropriate education to the patient and family regarding the surgical procedure. Displays excellent customer service skills when interacting with patients, families, co-workers and physicians. Practices within the guidelines of Louisiana State Board of Nursing Nurse Practice Act and AORN guidelines. Complies with the policy and procedures set forth by the Surgical Specialty Center of Baton Rouge and all applicable regulatory bodies.
  • PACU RN (Full Time)
    *No Weekends* Full Time position available. Flexible Shifts On- Call Required The Registered Nurse will posses the ability to assess, plan, implement, evaluate and accurately document nursing care for the post-operative surgery patient in the PACU. The Registered Nurse will provide age-specific care for the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the PACU environment. Coordinates all aspects of nursing care with all disciplines of the post-operative/procedural team to achieve defined patient outcomes. Provides safe environment for patients and family. The Registered Nurse must posses the skill to provide appropriate education to the patient's family regarding their individualized plan of care. Displays excellent customer service skills when interacting with patients, families, co-workers and physicians. Practices within the guidelines of Louisiana State Board of Nursing Nurse Practice Act and ASPAN guidelines. Complies with the policy and procedures set forth by the Surgical Specialty Center of Baton Rouge and all applicable regulatory bodies.
