Accounting

  • Accountant (Full Time)
    Responsibilities include bank reconciliations, journal entries, data entry, analyze monthly expense and revenue accounts for variances, reconciliation of monthly prepaid schedules, assisting with receiving and processing accounts payable, assisting with inventory, reconciling fixed assets to asset schedule.

Administration

  • PRN/On-Call Pharmacist (PRN)
    PRN shifts Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday p.m. through Monday a.m. on-call needed. Routine pharmacy duties and review of medication orders while on-call.

Admissions

  • Patient Access Representative - PRN (as needed) (PRN)
    This is a part time, as needed position. Responsible for covering the following positions as needed: PBX, Greeter, Pre-registration/Insurance Verification, Registration, Financial Counseling Responsible for the successful financial outcome of all patient services, including, but not limited to, answering phones and greeting our patients as they arrive to our facility, the pre-registration and registration of patient accounts, and collecting upfront payments prior to services being rendered. This position requires professional appearance, behavior, and good communication skills, as well as dependability, flexibility, and teamwork.

Business Office

  • Workerís Comp/Insurance Collector (Full Time)
    Extensive knowledge of the Louisiana State Workerís Compensation Fee Schedule. To ensure all insurance claims are paid per contract and in a timely manner. To properly identify any underpayments and ensure appeals are processed.

Environmental Services

  • Floor Tech (Part Time)
    Evening Shift Part Time Position. Clean floors in patient and non-patient areas according to established techniques and procedures. Perform a variety of duties requiring special skills and physical strength, to maintain the aseptic and aesthetic condition of the hospital/clinic. Perform all other related work assignments according to developed techniques and procedures.

Materials Management

  • Materials Management Coordinator (Full Time)
    Coordinates with the Purchasing Manager and OR Manager with general and specific surgery inventory functions and is responsible for the procurement of all pre-approved material and equipment required by the hospital. Assists with the unloading and stocking of supplies and equipment utilized by hospital departments. Assist the Manager with any other duties assigned.
  • Supply Clerk (Full Time)
    Performs the daily distribution function for non-chargeable and chargeable supplies and equipment utilized by the hospital departments. Assist the materials management coordinator to oversee that all chargeable supplies are labeled and distributed properly.

Nursing

  • OR Director (Full Time)
    Plan, organize, staff and direct a high-volume OR with multiple service lines. Design staff scheduling that meets the needs of patients as well as multiple physician service lines. Manage budget and develop OR programs and policy as well as staff development. Must keep current with management practices and current trends in service delivery. Develop and implement quality assurance programs and evaluate the effectiveness of such plans. Must be flexible with duty hours.
  • PREOP RN (Full Time)
    6:00am start, flexible shifts, Full Time. The Registered Nurse will posses the ability to assess, plan, implement, evaluate and accurately document nursing care for the pre-operative or pain management patient in the pre-op unit. The Registered Nurse will provide age-specific care for the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the pre-op environment. Coordinates all aspects of nursing care with all disciplines of the pre-operative and pain management team to achieve defined patient outcomes. Provides safe environment for patients and family. The Registered Nurse must possess the skill to provide appropriate education to the patientís family regarding their individualized plan of care. Displays excellent customer service skills when interacting with patients, families, co-workers and physicians. Practices within the guidelines of Louisiana State Board of Nursing Nurse Practice Act and ASPAN guidelines. Complies with the policy and procedures set forth by the Surgical Specialty Center of Baton Rouge and all applicable regulatory bodies.
  • RN - Operating Room (Full Time)
    FT or PRN, variable days M-F, 3 shifts per week, 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. No Weekends/No Holidays Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and accurately documents nursing care for the patient in surgery. Provides age-specific care for the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in surgery. Coordinates all aspects of nursing care with all disciplines of the surgical team to achieve defined patient outcomes. Provides a safe environment for patients in surgery. Displays excellent customer service skills when interacting with patients, families, co-workers and physicians. Practices within the Louisiana State Board of Nursing Nurse Practice Act and AORN guidelines. Complies with the policies and procedures set forth by the Surgical Specialty Center of Baton Rouge and all applicable regulatory bodies.
  • Surgical Technologist - FT & PRN (PRN)
    FT and PRN openings available. The scrub technologist is responsible for a portion of the perioperative care of the surgical patient by proficiently planning, implementing and evaluating the preparation of surgical cases and preparation of the surgical suite. The surgical technologist shall assist the surgeon during surgical procedures in a manner as to make the procedure safe, effective and smooth flowing while adhering to strict aseptic techniques. The surgical technologist is responsible for the preparation of surgical instruments and equipment as appropriate to the surgical procedure.
